Good idea, I'll probably do a post about that at some point. Long story short, I think my chess abilities now are similar to when I was 16, but in the intervening ~20 years I've managed to improve my life skills - dealing with setbacks, maintaining focus, eating and sleeping properly, etc. - and that's led to improved chess results.
