Love this method! I think many people approach longer games with this type of intentionality, but then let it slip when they play faster games.

Great article, thanks. I've also come (finally) to learn the benefits of blitz. The "add one more move" to your opening for each game idea has benefited me a lot.

I just wanted to add - for those of us who aren't sure about spending the money on chessbase: I use SCIDvPC, totally free software, to keep my database of chessgames.
